Anhydrite screeds

Benefits of anhydrite screeds

  • speed and quality of laying
  • possibility of realisation in housing and administrative constructions
  • shorter period of total laying time - self-levelling mixture, it is possible to use it even in very indented spaces, up to 1000 m² daily
  • smaller thickness of floor = less loading on construction
  • high strength in compression and bending strength
  • high fire resistance
  • high plainness level
  • ideal solution for floor heating

Prices

Prices are calculated for each individual case and they are always obligatory and constant.

Characteristics

System of floors

Anhydrite screed is poured self-levelling mixture on basis of calcite sulphate (anhydrite), which fulfil the function of binder, filling is sand (maximal fraction 0-4 mm), ingredients (plastificators) and water. During screed hardening originate crystal structure. Relatively large crystals creates together full-area joints and so minimal amount of concave spaces occur. Thanks to this structure anhydrite screeds reach high strengths levels (strength in compression minimally 20 MPa, bending strength minimally 5 MPa) and from this reasons we can use them only in small thicknesses without any other reinforcing.

Field of use:

Where to use them:

The anhydrite floors can be used as underlying layer for tread floor layers (PVC, ceramic tiles, carpet, floating floors, parquets), for internal use in flat buildings, administrative areas, public buildings, in schools, hospitals, gyms, etc., with maximal loading 750 kg/m². They can be also used for bathroom and toilet floors assuming that the required precautions will be fulfilled (waterproofing).

Anhydrite screed can not be used in exterior and permanently wet operation conditions. Calcite sulphate is not hydraulic binder thereby can not be exposed to permanent moisture.

When wet the strength of floor decreases to 50% of original value. As far as the floor dries up without mechanical damage, it reaches the strength back.

Technical description and data

Production and transport

Our company works with anhydrite mixed in concreting plants as ready product and is transported to it's destination by help of lorry mixers. The mixtures are transported to destination place by snail pump with distance control. We are possible to deliver mixture to distance up to 180 m and height 80m. The electricity connection is not necessary in place.

Method of application

The realisation of these floors is done mainly in form of "package delivery". We prepare the underlying layers, including impact noise insulation and thermal insulation. At the present time we are not able to realise the works including floor heating but we closely cooperate on this issue with floor heating suppliers. Anhydrite mixture is self-levelling and therefore laid with high precision with maximal diversion ± 2 mm. It is possible to divide different height levels by special components during realisation.

Our company manage three working teams of daily performance up to 3000 m².
